Q: What is the Pre-Medical Society?
A: The Pre-Medical Society is a student organization dedicated to helping the undergraduate students at Missouri State University obtain admission into medical school. We offer monthly informational meetings and additional resources for medical school preparation.

Q: Why should I join?
A: Some of the services offered by the society are available only to members: shadowing/service/volunteer opportunities, scholarships, banquets, and some emailed information about upcoming events and deadlines.

Q: How do I get involved?
A: Come to the meetings and speak with one of our officers about getting involved.

Q: How do I join?
A: Submit your completed membership application and societal dues to our Treasurer. A receipt will be provided at the time of submission.

A: Meeting times and locations are posted on the calendar.

A: Contact one of our officers via email or speak with an officer at a meeting.

Q: What classes do I have to take as a pre-medical student?
A: Pre-medical students are required to take general biology I and II, general physics I and II, general chemistry I and II, and organic chemistry I and II. While these are the only required science courses, pre-medical students are encouraged to pursue a degree in one of the natural sciences.
