Dr. Pybas is an Associate Professor in the Political Science Department. He not only serves as Phi Alpha Delta's advisor, but also as the University's pre-law advisor. From years of experience working with students wishing to enter law school, Dr. Pybas will be able to answer your questions and provide assistance where needed. Even if you have another advisor in your declared major, do not hesitate to contact Dr. Pybas for questions concerning the law school application process.
Dr. Pybas received his law degree at the University of Tulsa, later earning his Ph. D. from the University of Georgia. His research interests focus on issues of law and religion and civic education. His work has appeared in Justice System Journal (co-authored), Perspectives on Political Science, Valparaiso University Law Review, Cumberland Law Review, and University of Detroit Mercy Law Review (forthcoming. He is also a contributor to the Encyclopedia of American Civil Rights and Liberties and contributed a chapter to Faith, Morality, and Civil Society.
