Join us for our professional development meeting this semester on Monday, October 23 in Pummill 206 @ 1:30-2:30. We will have a practicum panel to share practicum experiences and what to expect during practicum.

We are very thankful to have Dr. Lisa Hall; Amy Phillips, Spring Ridge Administrator; Kelsey Sinor, Program Director at Springfield Public Libraries; Jen Kemp, former MSU GER program student and current graduate student at MSU; and Jessica Spauldin,... former MSU GER program student and current senior center administrator at our meeting to help prepare students for their future practicum!

The Gerontology Program is co-hosting a community intergenerational Family Activities Fair with the Northwest Project at The Fairbanks next month. This is part of a service-learning project I do with the students in my Families in Later Life class, that has students from psychology, gerontology, social work, and child and family development. GER Club wants to invite you to our next meeting on 9/11 at 1:30-2:30 in Pummill 206.

In honor of 9/11, we will be making thank-you cards for older adult veterans in the community. The cards will be distributed at Northview Senior Center, where over 100 veterans visit per week! We hope to see you at the meeting!!!

P.S. Feel free to bring your favorite markers and friends, too!
