Who Are We?
Future Public Health Professionals (FPHP) is a student organization at Missouri State University. Our focus is to gain experience in Public Health practice while making positive contributions to timely Public Health issues in our community, region and state. We do this by working with practicing Public Health Professionals, bringing in guest speakers, participating in trainings and workshops and through service opportunities. Ultimately, by participating in these opportunities we establish lasting partnerships and increase our knowledge and skills in public health while serving our community. Together, we can prevent, promote and protect public health in the Ozarks and in the state.
Who Can Join?
If you have an interest and passion for public health we need you! Many students earning their Master of Public Health degree find the organization rewarding for its resume building potential, service opportunities, gaining experience working on current Public Health initiatives and making connections with our area's practicing public health affiliates. Even if you're not in the MPH program, other areas of interest and academia which include nursing, dentistry, medicine, psychology, sociology and non-for-profit work can benefit from FPHP.
