STC Student Conference

Registration is now open for Missouri State University’s STC Student Conference on Saturday April 24, 2021. The STC Student Conference is open to everyone, current students, alumni, future students, and anyone who might be interested in learning more about what you might be able to do with a technical/professional writing degree.

Location

The conference this year is completely virtual and will be held via Zoom.

Cost

There is no cost to attend the conference this year. By registering, you will provide your email address so you can receive the Zoom login information and agendas.

Faculty Workshop

The Faculty Workshop will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021. The workshop is open to faculty, graduate assistants, or others interested in learning about how to develop and manage a master class. The presenter will provide information about how to connect your classrooms to your field and to local and regional communities in meaningful ways.

Dr. Kirk St. Amant will discuss leveraging online education to connect more directly with professional and local communities across industry and academia. He will review the process of creating a master class and work with attendees to discuss and develop approaches they can use in their own online classes.
