SOFAC Timeline

August- September, 2021: Annual Registration

Student Organizations must re-register their organization through the Annual Registration process in order to receive SOFAC funding. For more information about Annual Registration check out the Office of Student Engagement website.

 

January 12-29, 2022: Budget Proposal Workshops

In order to attend a Budget Proposal Workshop meeting for the 22-23 Fiscal Year you must RSVP at least 48 hours before the scheduled zoom meeting.

The Budget proposal workshops are mandatory sessions to be attended by the President and/or treasurer of the organization. This session will review the SOFAC process as well as how to properly complete/submit the SOFAC General Budget Proposal. If you do no attend the meeting you are no eligible to apply for funding. 

 

February 1-12, 2022: General Budget Proposal Process

The General Budget Proposals for Full Year 2022-2023 can be submitted on the SOFAC CampusLINK page beginning February 1, 2022 and due February 12, 2022 at 5pm. General Budget Proposals should include any request for funding for dates between July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023.

 

February 15- March 25, 2022: SOFAC Council Review Meetings

SOFAC Delegates may contact organizations if they have questions or need clarification about a submitted proposal

 

March 26, 2022: SOFAC Award Letters & Budget Review Forms

SOFAC Award Letters and Budget review Forms will be posted to the CampusLINK pages of receiving organizations under Documents

 

March 31, 2022: SOFAC Appeals deadline

 

April 1-5, 2022: SOFAC Appeal Hearings

 

April 6-15, 2022: SOFAC Payment Meetings

As a recipient of SOFAC funds, it is MANDATORY your organization send either the President or Treasurer to attend one of the meetings listed below. During the meeting, representatives will learn how to access the funds allocated to their organization through direct payment and/or reimbursement.
