Trial Schedule

The degree in cell and molecular biology may be completed in four years or eight semesters. The four-year degree plan does not take into account dual credit or transfer credit that may be considered upon admission to the university. Variation to the sample schedule provided below is based on your mathematics eligibility. Due to sequential prerequisites, limited course offerings and tight course scheduling, it is recommended that if you are interested in seeking admission to this program, you meet with your advisor during your freshman year. The Cell and Molecular Biology (CMB) program is comprehensive and does not require a minor.

Sample schedule

You should apply to the CMB program at the beginning of your third or fourth semester. Undergraduates who have completed 60 or more credit hours will require special permission to pre-register if they have not been admitted to the program. Meet with your advisor and review the class schedule before confirming your schedule.
