The purpose of United Students for Fair Trade (Missouri State Chapter) is to combat the global inequality of an unfair economic system. We realize that there are those who work for an unfair daily wage; those who farm for less than one dollar per day and those who spend weeks on a craft only to make an unfair compensation. We strive to inform our campus and community about the Fair Trade Movement and Fair Trade alternatives, while planning Fair Trade events designed to help those in our global community.
