Some of our site is under construction. Thank you for your patience.

Higher education and your life as a college student are all about claiming your place in the world that God loves. Your "task" is to use your abilities and passions to set the stage for today and your future. New ideas and experiences, and testing long-held beliefs will prepare you well. We all know this to be true.

Jesus shows us a way forward in this journey. A way filled with integrity, challenge, courage and even joy. UMHE provides you a setting to encounter Jesus in the midst of a community of fellow travelers. We are a campus ministry with over 50 years of experience at Missouri State that .... believes the questions lead us to very interesting answers, cherishes everyone, really, everyone (unconditionally), creates with you a safe place where you can find companiionship and community, and partners with dynamic student organizations like HABITAT for HUMANITY to make a real difference in the world.

This webpage is an entry point to UMHE. You will find day-to-day announcments on our Facebook page.

UMHE is sponsored by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Presbyterian Church USA and the United Church of Christ. These groups believe it is a matter of faithfulness to reach across boundaries that might separate us. So, everyone is welcome!

We invite you to share your college life with us.

Best wishes,
Howard Cavner,
UMHE Campus Minister and Advocate for Students
