The Office of Student Engagement (OSE) and Plaster Student Union recently repositioned the Student Organization Funding Allocation Council (SOFAC) to become a part of the Co-Curricular Involvement area of the OSE. Since the move, there have been many changes to policies and procedures, as well as an increase in the Student Involvement Fee. These changes prompted a comprehensive Satisfaction Survey to be sent out to all student organizations, including both those that had received SOFAC funding and those that had not received funding. Each year, the OSE continues to assess and evaluate the effectiveness of SOFAC and the processes included with funding.
This assessment report highlights findings from the Satisfaction Survey, suggestions for improvements, and recommendations for future assessment.
