What is the pay rate for a SCAT member?
The pay rate beginning Fall 2007 is $9.00 per hour and is funded through the Federal Work Study program.

No. The SCAT member's wages are paid from their work study award.
What is the SCAT member's work schedule?
The agency supervisor and the SCAT member together decide the schedule.

All SCAT members are required to maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
Is there a course load requirement for the SCAT member?
The SCAT member is required to complete 12 credit hours per semester (fall and spring).
How are students selected to participate in the SCAT program?
All applicants must complete an application, submit letters of reference, and attend an interview session.
What majors have SCAT members usually declared?
SCAT members have majors in all areas of the university; however, their majors will not limit the skills and benefits that the students can provide to your agency.
When does SCAT begin?
The SCAT year begins with the start of the fall semester in August and ends with the completion of the spring semester. Summer is not included in the SCAT calendar year. Holidays and university breaks are optional work times. Each SCAT member is expected to serve the same agency for both Fall and Spring semesters.
