Other important information for current members
- If you are selected to receive a Smith-Glynn-Callaway scholarship (including the Outstanding Student awards, see outstanding awards at top of page) and you are also receiving scholarships from other sources, the size of your award may be reduced so that your total scholarship amount for 2010-2011 does not exceed the maximum allowed under federal law. No monetary award will be made to a student who is already receiving scholarships that sum to the federal maximum.
- All qualified juniors and seniors are eligible to be recognized as a Guy Callaway Outstanding Premedical Student (see outstanding awards at top of page), regardless of their eligibility status for additional scholarships funds. All qualified juniors and seniors are encouraged to apply for these awards.
- Each student selected to receive a scholarship must provide a letter of gratitude that can be forwarded to the donor who support these scholarships.
- Scholarship awards will be deposited into the student's University account, not paid to the student directly
