A: The Pre-Medical Society is a student organization dedicated to helping the undergraduate students at Missouri State University obtain admission into medical school. We offer monthly informational meetings and additional resources for medical school preparation.

A: Some of the services offered by the society are available only to members: shadowing/service/volunteer opportunities, scholarships, banquets, and some emailed information about upcoming events and deadlines.

Q: What classes do I have to take as a pre-medical student?
A: Pre-medical students are required to take general biology I and II, general physics I and II, general chemistry I and II, and organic chemistry I and II. While these are the only required science courses, pre-medical students are encouraged to pursue a degree in one of the natural sciences.
