-November 12, Medical, Dental, and Nursing School Information Night, 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM, Strong Hall....because this event falls on the same night as our regularly scheduled meeting, we will not be having a Pre-Medical Society Meeting this night. An event, Medical, Dental, and Nursing School Information Night, is being hosted in Strong Hall on November 12th, 6:00-8:30 PM. Medical, dental, and nursing schools from around Missouri will be attending to give short presentations and host booths to talk with students interested in these careers. Admissions personnel will review admissions requirements, general information, and preadmission programs available. You can view a flyer of the event here and please note that you need to fill out a registration form by November 6! UMKC School of Medicine and School of Dentistry, MU, and possibly A.T. Still will be attending.
-November 17, Convoy of Hope, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. The Headquarters is on Chestnut Expressway, meet at 6:00 pm at Professional Bldg. if you'd like to carpool.
-November 19, Street Clean-up, 4:00 PM...We will be cleaning up our street- Walnut Lawn (from Parkhill Avenue to Campbell Avenue). Meet at Professional at 3:45 PM if you want to carpool, or just meet us there in the Walmart parking lot! Bring your own gloves!!
-November 19. Orthopedic Surgeon, 6:30 PM, Library, Room 101...come to a Q&A with a local orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Kubik!
-November 22, Meeting, 7 PM, Library, Room 101...T-shirts will be handed out at this meeting!
