Rho Chi Chapter History The Rho Chi (PX) Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. was founded at Missouri State University (Formerly Southwest Missouri State University) In Springfield, Missouri, MO on November 21, 1989, by five men who wanted to serve their community under the auspices of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Brothers Rolando Greene, Chris Clay, Curtis Jones, Lee Campbell, and Shandol Moss. The Rho Chi Chapter became the second predominantly black fraternity to be available on MSU's campus. Their vision was one of world-class service. This vision continues to be embraced by all who have become members of Rho Chi Chapter. We continue to serve our community through cooperative partnerships to assure that the services that we provide and the information that we distribute are always in keeping with the needs of our community. Since the Rho Chi Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. was chartered on the Missouri State Universary campus in 1989, our brotherhood has played pivotal roles in numerous facets of MSU life. Our brothers have held memberships in SGA, Association of Black Collegians, NAACP, MSU football, baseball and track teams, and numerous others. Several of our alumni have also graduated and moved on the successful lives and careers after college and still hold the spirit of Rho Chi dear in their hearts.
