Fall 2009

October 31, 2009:  Join the Economics Club at Missouri State University Homecoming football game vs. Illinois State University.  The club will be meeting at noon in front of BearFest Village for some pre-game tailgating and then heading to the game.

 

November 2, 2009:  The Economics Club will be taking part in the CHPPA Club Fair from 10:30-2:00.

 

November 9, 2009:  The Economics Club will be hosting a panel on The Current Economic and Financial Crisis at 3:30.  The location of the presentation is to be announced at a later date.  Panelists for the event include Dr. Terrel Gallaway, Dr. John Hoftyzer, Dr. Mahua Barari Mitra, and Dr. Tom Wyrick.  The club would like to invite all that are interested to attend the event in the discussion on where the country is currently at in our economic and finanical crisis.

 

 

Spring 2010

January 14, 2010:  Welcome back!  The Economics Club will be hosting a Panera Night on S. National from 5:00-9:00.  There will be door prizes, board games, and good times.

 

The Economics Club is planning a trip to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City in late Spring 2010.  Those interested in attending the trip are invited to contact Dr. Julie Gallaway for more details.
