Dance Bear-A-Thon

Thanks to participants and sponsors of Dance Bear-A-Thon 2009: Miracles in Motion!  This year's event, held on October 2-3, was a HUGE success as over 300 dancers raised an amazing

$26,431!!!

Last year's event, Dance Bear-A-Thon 2008: Party With A Purpose, was held September 19-20 in McDonald Arena.  With 250 dancers, our fundraising total was an incredible

$20,400!!

Our inaugural year, Dance Bear-A-Thon 2007: Bear Hug A Kid, was held September 21-22 and witnessed 200 dancers raise an astounding

$16,746!

*OUR CUMULATIVE FUNDRAISING TOTAL IS 63,577!!!*

Try it!  I promise it will take no time at all to get registered as a dancer, and it is definitely to your advantage to do so.  Our website includes such features as a personal participant webpage, prescripted emails to send to family and friends, online giving capabilities, and an easy way to track money that you've raised!

      Dance Bear-A-Thon is committed to establishing a relationship between Children's Miracle Network of CoxHealth and Missouri State University. This event will promote children's health and happiness through student leadership and enjoyment, increasing involvement by the University community and laying the foundation for a future tradition.


   We envision Dance Bear-A-Thon as an empowered student organization that, for one day a year, will put on the premier community and campus-wide event. Dance Bear-A-Thon will achieve a tradition of excellence, and will be recognized for its service and commitment to Children’s Miracle Network of CoxHealth.
