Missouri State University Bowling Club 2009-2010

The Missouri State Bowling Team is a club sport open to anyone on campus. We strive to make ourselves a respectable and contending team each year.

The club is made up of two parts, general membership and the traveling competition teams. All students are welcome to join the Bowling Club, but those wanting to participate in tournaments must be selected through a tryout. Each year we select 5 men and 5 women to make up the two competition teams.

The 2002-2003 season brought us nearly unprecedented success with several top ten finishes and a win at the ACUI International Championships; Missouri State's first win in over ten years. Although 2003-2004 didn't bring us quite the success we had intended, it did teach us a new perspective on the sport of bowling and has allowed us to gear up and come out strong in the 2004-2005 campaign.

In the 2008-2009 season, the team took 3rd place at the Las Vegas, NV tournament and had one of its team members place in the top 5 and be selected as an All-Star bowler.

We are very excited about the 2009-2010 season. If you would like to be a part of the team, get some free bowling, or just watch us practice, feel free to come out to Enterprise Park Lanes located at 1625 S. Enterprise. The Bowling Club holds open practice every Monday night at 9:00 p.m. The Bowling Club would love to see you at practice or any of our events.
