Blair-Shannon Hall Council General Assembly Meeting October 2, 2006
I. Call to order – Kevin 8:05 p.m. II. Cafeteria managers discuss next weekly menu a. Mid-October – caring cans food drive b. Late night dining – Wednesday nights 11-1 a.m. @ Garst III. Blair-Shannon Boogie tomorrow night in grand lounge, BE THERE AND HAVE FUN!!! IV. Workshop – next Tuesday @ 8:30 in PSU 308, time management tips will be given by Teresa V. Pumpkin Pals- October 25th, 7-9:30 p.m. a. Residents will be giving out candy, sign up at front desk if interested VI. High school students will be touring @ MSU on October 14th, if interested in volunteering, contact Chris P. VII. If you have any t-shirt ideas for Blair-Shannon, e-mail Sabrina ASAP VIII. Study stars begins this week IX. E-mail Stephanie if you are interested in decorating posters, HELP IS NEEDED!! X. Community service a. Pop tabs ends December 4th b. November 11 – Habitat for Humanity c. October 28 – Make a Difference Day XI. E-mail Brittany if you are at all interested in helping with Homecoming publicity, Homecoming week, etc. XII. Get people to sign up for intramurals XIII. New recreational center – give your input XIV. Xbox 360 tomorrow in PSU XV. Art walk this Friday – all are invited! XVI. Hispanic Fiesta on Wednesday in grand lounge XVII. Use grand lounge reservation forms @ front desk if you want to plan programs in grand lounge XVIII. Maintenance/Sodexho/Custodial day – October 5. give your appreciation XIX. Open Mic. Night – Possibly December 4, any one can come perform in grand lounge XX. Wine Program – October 17 @ 9 p.m. a. $40-$50 is requested for funds b. Vote for $50 motioned by Dan and Seconded by Gabbi c. Vote passed, $50 will go to Wine Program XXI. Study Sessions – October 9,10,11 XXII. Meeting adjourned @ 9:10 p.m.
