Blair-Shannon Hall Council Exec. Board Meeting September 25, 2006
I. Call to order – Kevin 8:05 p.m. a. Family Day/Pack Plaster – invite family to football game, Sodexho will be there II. Blair-Shannon Mixer Bash a. Tuesday, October 3rd 8-10 p.m. b. Dancing, karaoke, music, possibly smoothies III. Habitat for Humanity- plan to volunteer on November 11 IV. Make a Difference Day – October 28th V. First Social Committee meeting on Sept. 26th, a survey will be handed out to get ideas for social programs VI. Academic Programming Committee a. October 11 – Family Reunion Night b. Nov. 6 – Political panel to talk about stem cell c. Dec. 4 – Dinner and Study Night VII. Study Stars will be given out to students who are found studying with their doors open VIII. E-mail Stephanie if you would like to help decorate posters for publicity IX. Homecoming week events a. Halloween decorating contest, mock tail competition, costume contest, Halloween in the halls, trivia night X. Budget = $1,782.50 a. $100 towards buying snacks and pop for future programs XI. Root beer pong is on Thursday night in grand lounge a. Invite as many people as you can XII. RHA a. $900 went to 32 Minutes, and $750 was given to NRHH b. Sign up sheet for Halloween in the halls is at the front desk c. Hunt for Red Rocktober i. Red rocks will be planted around entire campus, turn in as many as you can to front desk to win prizes XIII. Get attendance up for Packing Plaster a. Be as creative and energetic as possible XIV. Movie Bingo will be held every Thursday night in the PSU XV. Meeting adjourned at 9:15 p.m. |
