Nadege Uwase, the keynote speaker at the dinner, is a survivor of the Rwandan genocide and a Mizzou student.  Here she recounts her story of living through the genocide.

Dr. Barbara Bauer is a professor at Mizzou and a member of Step Up, an organization dedicated to helping Rwandan genocide victims and other post-genocide victims.
